Dynamics and Control Laboratory

Dynamics and Control Group of the PKU currently has 3 teachers and 7 students (postgraduate and postdoctoral). The research group is mainly engaged in the research of multi-body system variable structure dynamics, granular media dynamics, and the application of dynamics in  aerospace projects. The research group has published many excellent articles in high-level magazines such as Nature Communication, Multibody Systems Dynamics, and Nonlinear Dynamics. The research group has already trained a number of outstanding graduates. They either hold important positions in the space institute or teach and educate students in colleges and universities.

Collision/contact and friction

Our groop has Studied the mechanical behavior between complex systems, developed the theoretical description of the one-dimensional bulk medium impulse wave function and the non-coordinated contact model caused by a kind of joint gap.
